Every day we encounter patients who want to know if the Goldberg Tener Clinic treats a specific disease: allergies, cancer, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid disease, gastrointestinal disorders, etc. Do we “treat “it”? The answer is we work with patients with any medical diagnosis but we do not “treat” any of them (see article Escaping the Treatment Mentality).

Our focus has always been to identify and address the causes of each patient’s health issues and establish the optimal conditions for the Re-Creation™ of a new, healthier body. In doing this specifically, we have restored health to thousands of chronically ill individuals over the past forty five years. This logical approach is the outgrowth of Dr. Goldberg’s experience with chronic illness as a young man, his training in epidemiology, chronic disease control, chiropractic, clinical nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, hygiene, thirty-seven years as a Professor of Clinical Nutrition, Gastroenterology, Laboratory Sciences and Rheumatology and his work with thousands of chronically ill patients whose health has been restored through our unique approach, the Bio-Hygienic Re-Creation System™.

Bio-Hygiene™ and Re-Creation™

We refer to the system we employ to reverse chronic disease as the Bio-Hygienic Re-Creation System™. This method is unique to the Goldberg Tener Clinic. The practice of Bio-Hygiene™ involves the time and labor-intensive endeavor of uncovering the causes of a patient’s health issues, developing an individualized approach for that patient’s needs and establishing the optimal conditions for the Re-Creation™ of the body. Bio-Hygiene™ is dramatically different not only from Conventional Medicine but also from Alternative, Integrative, Functional and Complimentary Medical practices. It is not a form of medicine or treatment of any type.

A key element of the Bio-Hygienic Re-Creation System™ is the concept of Re-Creation™. The Re-Creation™ process allows for the breakdown of old, inferior tissues that have contributed to disease and their replacement with new, healthier tissues allowing for a renewal of health. This represents the Art and Science of Clinical Epidemiology, Nutritional Biochemistry and Hygienic Practice all merged into an individualized approach for each patient. Many of our Clinic’s before and after photos of patients (see below) show the metamorphosis that takes place through the Re-Creation process™. Patients not only recover their health but look and feel younger with dramatically improved skin and muscle tone, brighter eyes and an overall look and feel of total body rejuvenation.

At the Goldberg Tener Clinic, a patient’s journey begins with an intensive interview, asking the right questions, listening carefully to the answers and putting the pieces of the puzzle together. This is followed by a physical examination and appropriate laboratory studies, (conventional and functional) interpreted by Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Tener with over fifty years of combined experience in developing, interpreting and applying both standard and functional lab results.

Having identified the causal factors in each case, an individualized program is developed to build health and Re-Create™ the body. Unlike other practices where symptoms are suppressed or covered up, the Bio-Hygienic Re-Creation System™ involves the total restoration of the patient’s health.

Regaining health from chronic disease conditions requires addressing causal factors, not “treating” the disease.
