Nora first came to the Goldberg Tener Clinic in 2019 following a 13 year struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was officially diagnosed by a Medical Rheumatologist in 2006 and given multiple pharmaceuticals including NSAID’s, Prednisone, Hydroxychloroquine, Methotrexate, Arava, Humira, Cimzia and Rituxan (see article “The Dangers of Biological Drugs”) which failed to bring about improvement in her condition and resulted in a further decline in health as the causes of her problems went unaddressed. She later saw an “Integrative” Medical Physician who gave her numerous supplements to take in addition to her drugs which also failed to benefit her (read article: The Facade of Functional / Integrative Medicine).

Nora’s prognosis medically was very poor. Like so many other patients diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and treated with drugs, she was headed for a life of progressive disability, reduced mobility and a lifetime of suffering. One needs only to visit a Rheumatologist’s office to see the legions of patients with arthritis and Rheumatism taking toxic medications, suffering with ongoing side effects and getting continually worse year after year. Little thought is given to the individual needs of each patient and causal factors are ignored. The patient ends up a pawn in their own sad state of affairs going back to the Rheumatologist’s office for ongoing visits and more drug treatment that draws them deeper into illness and despair. This tragic scenario does not have to occur!

Today, one year since coming to the Goldberg Tener Clinic, Nora has successfully reversed her condition and broken free from the chains of medical dependency and drug treatment. She reports no pain, significantly improved energy and a full ability to manage and operate her 500 acre farm in Maryland! Her inflammatory markers, C-Reactive Protein and Sedimentation Rate (shown below) are within normal limits.
