Rheumatoid Arthritis… Lindsey Restores her Health and Eliminates Drugs
Lindsey came to the Goldberg Tener Clinic with a four year history of Rheumatoid Arthritis. The joint pain and swelling she experienced made life difficult for her, particularly while caring for a young child. She had trouble opening jars and bottles. Her fingers were swollen to the point she was unable to wear her wedding ring. Walking was difficult at times due to knee pain.
Lindsey’s Rheumatologist prescribed Cimzia and Plaquenil and told her she “would be on drugs forever to manage her symptoms”. Lindsey was concerned about the potential for side effects, particularly with Cimzia, a Biologic (TNF-Alpha blocker) that suppresses the immune system placing her at increased risk for infection and cancer. See article “The Dangers of Biologics”.
Our primary objective in working with Lindsey was to dissect out the causal factors contributing to her condition so they could be addressed directly. Stress factors, gastrointestinal disturbances, diet / nutritional / lifestyle factors and environmental toxic exposures all played a role in the development of her condition and were addressed through the implementation of an individualized Bio-Hygienic Program. Lindsey also had an infected root canal which can, in some cases, contribute to autoimmune conditions.
In the video interview above, Lindsey discusses her experience working with the Goldberg Tener Clinic and the positive outcome she achieved in reversing her condition and restoring her health. She is no longer taking the drugs she was told she would need to be on for the rest of her life.
